And growing like a weed. Look at those cheeks!
And don't forget the big sister, who is very into accessorizing lately.

rolling over
So . . . Jonah started rolling over a few days ago. Just from his stomach to his back, but he tries to roll over when he is the Baby Bjorn which is pretty funny. I finally got a video of him in action:
Harper started rolling over at 10 weeks (click here for the video), so Jonah has her beat because he is currently 5 weeks old.
Harper and Jonah have been getting along pretty well. Occasionally I see Harper jumping very close to him or trying to lay on top of him to give him a hug, but overall she loves him. Whenever she wakes up in the morning she normally yells "Mommy" and "Daddy" so that we will come and get her, but she has started yelling, "Mommy, Daddy, baby." It's pretty funny.
We do have a lot more tantrums going on from Harper. We see a lot of this.
Jonah continues to be a pretty happy baby. He sleeps a lot and loves the baby swing.
Yesterday my friend Morgan, who is wonderful, was kind enough to take Harper on a little field trip to the Kidspace museum in Pasadena. Harper loved it. I don't think she wanted to come home. Morgan sent me this photo from her phone:
And finally, we are very excited that we have a new niece. Tom's brother Brent and his wife Miranda had a new baby girl today. Taylor is just 5 weeks younger than Jonah and Tom's sister Robyn is due to have a baby in a few months as well, so Jonah is going to have lots of cousins his age. Hopefully we will get to meet baby Taylor soon :)

at one month old . . .
Jonah is a wonderful napper. I just swaddle him up and he goes right to sleep.
He is a little dramatic. He will go from looking around and making cooing noises to screaming at the top of his lungs in the same breath.
He loves taking baths.
He is very observant and enjoys looking around.
He loves to be held.
He loves it when Harper talks to him. It seems to calm him down.
He tolerates tummy time, which is something that Harper never did.
Apparently Harper wasn't happy about getting her picture taken.
He is growing very fast and is getting close to outgrowing several of his 0-3 month clothes.
He is a very happy baby, as long as he has a very full tummy. That last part is very important.
Sorry about the lack of photos lately, our normal camera is currently out of commission :( but hopefully we will have it back soon.

3 weeks old
Jonah is now 3 weeks old and we are just loving him. He has a great temperament and is a great sleeper. And a great eater, which we found out for sure when we took him for his 2 week visit last week. He weighed in at 9 lbs. 8 oz. and is now 22.5 inches long. That means that in 2 weeks he has gained 2 pounds and grown an inch (he got down to 7 lbs. 8 oz. after he was born).
Jonah has pretty much outgrown his newborn clothes and is filling out his 0-3 month clothes pretty well.
This morning Harper spent some time teaching Jonah about his toys. It was great until Harper tried to hit him. We're working on that.

4th of July
We had a great 4th of July weekend. On Saturday we enjoyed a BBQ with our friends the Jasinskis.
And on Sunday we drove up to Bakersfield to visit with Tom's parents.
Harper even tried corn on the cob for the first time. It was great to get out of the house, though Jonah pretty much spends most of the day nursing.
