Halloween!

Last night was Tom's office Halloween party and tonight was our ward Trunk or Treat so we have quite the stockpile of candy for me Harper to eat.  Harper has been insisting for MONTHS that she wants to be Tinkerbell and she REALLY thought that she was Tinkerbell with that costume on.  When people asked what her name is, she said Tinkerbell and I saw her try to fly several times.  I have a feeling this costume is going to get a lot of wear as a dress up outfit.  We had Jonah dress up as Peter Pan because it was easy and he isn't old enough to object.
This is Harper with her cute friend Alice in Wonderland (aka Kate).  These two were born a couple of weeks apart and have been hanging out every since.  Check out the last photo in this post from 2 years ago.
We got a photo of him wearing his hat!  He was not a fan.
I am pretty much caught up now.  I do need to make a 16 month photo about Jonah with all of the funny/weird things he has been doing lately.

Utah Misc.

Here are some random photos from our trip.
Harper eating gelato after having lunch with Grandma.
The kids in their matching Elmo pajamas that my Mom and I got them.  These guys are big Sesame Street fans.
Harper with my Dad.  We had lunch at Red Rock, YUM!
While I was in town Carly and I went up Big Cottonwood Canyon and did some senior photos.  It was good practice for me and some of them turned out really cute!
I dressed Jonah in this outfit one day and Chase saw it and said he had a matching one.  Of course Chase's doesn't have a green dinosaur on the side.  I think it is interesting to see these two together because they have really similar coloring and look a little alike.
Jonah with Great Grandpa Montgomery, one of my favorite people.
Kelly and her friends had a paint fight.  They are going to wear the resulting clothes to a school  dance.  Harper was very concerned about what happened to Kelly.
Harper coloring while visiting Grandma in her classroom.
A couple of other random things . . .

While we were in Utah we went to Wal-Mart.  We don't have any easily accessible Wal-Mart in our area so Harper has probably only been there a couple times.  While we were shopping Harper kept saying, "This store is weird, I don't like this store."  Me either.

This was the first time Harper has really been around Rocko (my parents' dog) since the biting incident.  I was really curious to see how Harper would respond.  We kept Rocko locked up in his room while the kids were around, but Harper was pretty scared of him. I am glad that she is still afraid of Rocko but isn't afraid of all Dogs.

pumpkin picking

While we were in Utah Harper picked and painted a couple of pumpkins from Grandma and Grandpa's garden.  She thought this was pretty amazing and took great care in painting them.

Ty's wedding

The main reason we were in Utah last week was for my stepbrother Tyson's wedding.  Tom and I have been married for more than 5 years and this is the first time since we got married that one of our siblings has gotten married.  The wedding was beautiful and it was fun to see Tyson and Abi so happy.

Bath time at Grandma's

Since we were in Utah last, my Mom and Stepdad have remodeled their room and bathroom.  They have a big, gorgeous new bathtub that no one had even used yet!

We didn't make it to a pumpkin patch this year . . .

So the Trader Joe's parking lot will have to due.

If Harper dressed herself . . .

She would probably look something like this every day.
